GFLBT 2026
Great Finger Lakes Bike Tour August 21-23
A weekend of cycling, hiking, camaraderie, history, food, and fun in the Seneca Falls NY area out of Cayuga Lake State Park!
2026 Recap
What an incredible weekend at Cayuga Lake State Park! Close to 100 registered participants joined us for three days filled with great friends, fantastic food, wonderful fellowship, and unforgettable rides!
Here’s a quick look back at how the weekend unfolded:
🍦 Friday Warm-Up: We kicked off the tour with a relaxed 13-mile social ride into Seneca Falls for a sweet, refreshing treat at It's a Wonderful Scoop!
🚴 Saturday Main Event: Riders tackled four tailored routes across the region, which included scenic lakeside cruises and rolling countrysides. Stops at Cayuga Lake Creamery, Three Brothers Winery and Muranda Cheese Company were highlights on some of the rides! Afterward, we gathered at the Lodge for a great BBQ dinner followed by a special guest presentation on an inspiring cross-country cycling journey.
🏛️ Sunday Finale: The weather cleared up just in time! Cyclists took on the historic 22-mile Seneca Falls Historic Tour Ride (a huge thank you to Andy at the Seneca Falls Museum & Tourism Center for curating the historical stops along the route), while others enjoyed a scenic hike at the Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve. Lunch was enjoyed at Fall Street Brewing.
Thank you to all our ride leaders, sweeps, SAGs, speakers, volunteers, and participants who made this weekend such a success!

Cayuga Lake State Park camping and cabins
If you are looking to stay over at Cayuga Lake State Park, be sure to make reservations through the Reserve America website.
The northwest section of the park - cabins 15-21 and campsites 810-830 - is our lodging recommendation. It offers a good mix of cabins and RV / tent camping, which should help foster a sense of community among participants. There are cabins near the main parking lot for those who prefer easier access.
