Skinny-Wasco Lakes Great Ride 2024

Skinny-Wasco Lakes Great Ride 2024 is a weekend-long event that includes both club and event-only rides and a hike. Dinner, speakers and a raffle on the Saturday of the event are also included in the event.

Registration details

$45 includes rides, snacks, Saturday dinner, giveaways from sponsors and raffle.

This is a rain-or-shine event. Your payment is your registration.

50% refund July 17th - August 3rd 2024. No refund after August 3rd 2024

Event Location

Kick off your 2024 Skinny-Wasco weekend in the STBC Ice Cream Ride tradition, with a moderate ride in the countryside surrounding Moravia, landing at Candy's Corner Cones in Moravia near the ride's end.

Saturday, August 17 rides

Rides depart 9:15 AM - 10 AM

Skaneateles-Otisco Metric Century (64 miles)

This year's metric century offers the same challenging climbs, great views and exhilarating descents as previous years, but adds a ride up the east side of the eastern-most of the Finger Lakes, Otisco Lake.

Owasco Lake Loop (38 miles)

A clockwise loop around Owasco Lake, and the event's most popular ride of previous years with route improvements and addition of a stop at the Heritage Center for a historical presentation.

The Filthy Fillmore  gravel grinder (20 miles)

By popular request, a new offering for this year's event...a gravel ride with about 30% unpaved roads and the rest mostly on back roads through the Fillmore Glen State Park and the Summer Hill State Forest.

Interlake Ramble (20 miles)

This year's moderate ride with just enough climb to be interesting, to get to the Frozen Ocean State Forest and some great views of the Owasco-Skaneateles interlake country-scapes

Sunday, August 18 events

Kevina Ride (34 mi) - 9:30am

A repeat of last year's debute Sunday morning club ride - so popular and well-enjoyed, through the bucolic farm-scapes of the interlake area west of Fillmore Glen SP between Cayuga and Owasco Lakes.  Finish your SWLGR 2024 weekend with this great ride!

A leader-led hike throughout the hiking trails in the the park.
